How can we use environmental law in a way to improvise or impact climate change to the benefit of all of us?
We, as a nation, have already implemented many strategies to go help improvise the state of climate change impacting the environment in a negative way. As we know, Australia actively takes precautions and implements policies to benefit the current state.
One such strategy some parts of Australia have adopted is the concept of returning specific types of bottles to a designated government centre and receive $0.10c for each bottle provided. This is an incentive to ensure that individuals dispose of their waste at the right place as many may not have the awareness of recyclables and do potentially dispose recyclables in garbage at times. Through this policy, the government is able to ensure that waste is managed in a respected manner to an extent as not all waste has been yet planned to be disposed of in such a manner.
Another critical issue in climate change is the matter of deforestation. Although there are certain environmental laws which govern the actions one can make towards the environment, there are still many areas which need to be improvised to cause a change in how we approach climate change and the causes of it.
However, as a mitigating factor to climate change, many jurisdictions have their laws and regulations which are constructed to their benefit as each nation has a different atmosphere and environment conditions. Due to this, it is crucial that environmental laws are made for the nation and the climate change factor which has a huge contribution to the worsening effect.
